Hey everyone, Astrum Brumalis is changing!

Don't worry, we're still the close-knit family you know and love, and always will be. But, a large majority of the people in the guild have decided that we'd love to begin raiding and taking it seriously. So, as a result of this decision we are retooling our application, as well as announcing Vanek and Deipotent as our recruitment officers. Applicants will be under much more scrutiny than ever before so as to keep our raids flowing smoothly. At the same time though, we WILL still be accepting members to our family that choose not to be part of our core raiding group. Furthermore, current members that would like to be considered as part of our raiding core may fill out a separate application that will mainly ask your availability above all else.

In short, we're becoming a raiding guild at the core, but for the people not interested in raiding or that don't have the time, nothing much will be changing that directly effects you. We're still a family and we're always recruiting.

The guild went in to Ulduar 10 for the first time, mostly to get their feet wet. It was quite a successful night as four bosses went down (Flame Leviathan, Razorscale, XT-002, and Kologarn). The tanks were great, the dps was amazing, and the healing was top notch. Thanks to the following for contributing to our success:

***UPDATE - On our second night in Ulduar, we managed to drop Ignis, Iron Council, Auriaya, Hodir, and Thorim. This makes 9/13 bosses down (not including Algalon).***

After being screwed out of attending Blizzcon 2008 due to Blizzard's complete failure at ticket distribution last year, at least a few of us have been able to get tickets to this years convention. We hope you can join us this August 21-22, 2009, at the Anaheim Convention Center near Disneyland.
